How I had to go to work I decided to "force the shutdown", what I was unable to do, because of a "known bug" that occurs with surface's around the world, the power button issue, that simply doesn't work regularly, turning the process of "shut down" and "power up" something unbearable. You can use it to clone your disks without encountering any problems and boot successfully from the cloned disks.
